Novus Freshman Retreat!
Saturday-Sunday, February 25-26, 10:00 am (Saturday) - 6:30 pm (Sunday)
Newman Center
All Penn freshmen are invited to this two-day, one-overnight retreat, held at the Newman Center! Connect with other freshmen and with Catholic upperclassmen, and learn more about Catholic life at Penn. Student leaders share their experience of balancing social life, faith, and academics while exploring the many opportunities for spiritual and faith formation available through Penn Newman. Connections brings together people in small groups for a weekly opportunity for socialization, prayer and discussion on how faith fits into our daily lives.
Two different groups will be meeting for a six-week series:
* Tuesdays, 7:00 pm, starting Feb. 7: led by dental student Lisa Uberti
* Wednesdays, 7:00 pm, starting Feb. 8: led by Jeff Klein

GRAD STUDENT SERVICE OPPORTUNITY: uchc MEAL
Mondays, 5:30-7:00 pm
Sts. Agatha & James Church (38th & Chestnut)
The University City Hospitality Coalition provides a meal every day as part of its outreach to the poor and homeless. Penn veterinary student Anna Smith is coordinating a group of grad students/young professionals to help prepare and serve the meal on Mondays at St. AJ's. Locks of Love is a nonprofit organization that makes wigs for financially disadvantaged children experiencing hair loss due to any diagnosis.
