Cor (Latin for HEART) is a dynamic and interactive retreat for all Penn sophomores, juniors and seniors.
This weekend retreat is geared toward those who seek to deepen their relationship with God, self and others. Cor is organized and led by a team of students, with guidance from the Newman Center Ministry staff. Cor includes a number of reflective talks by students, small group discussions, personal reflection time, recreation, and the celebration of the sacraments of Reconciliation and Eucharist. Cor retreats are held at the beautiful Mariawald Retreat Center, a ministry of the Missionary Sisters of the Precious Blood of Jesus, near Reading, PA.
