Ignis (Latin for FIRE) is a retreat open to all Catholic undergraduate and graduate students at Penn.

IGNIS  is an overnight retreat that is designed to serve as a break  from the business of campus life. This relaxed and casual time away offers time for scriptural reflection and prayer, relaxation, games and recreation, outdoor activities (including an evening bonfire) informal conversations, and quiet time. The intention of  the IGNIS retreat is to gather a diversity of students to come together in a relaxed and peaceful environment  with the goal of seeking the presence of God in all things. IGNIS takes place at the Christian Brothers Spiritual Center in the Manayunk section of Philadelphia. The overall format of the retreat is open-ended, so students can participate in IGNIS as many times as they choose.
