Vocation Weekend Retreat
Friday-Sunday, December 17-19, 2010
Ancillae Assumpta Academy (2025 Church Rd., Wyncote, PA)
Wondering how to pick God's will out of all the great possibilities for your life? Whether it's picking a grad school or deciding to break up with your boyfriend, making important life decisions is tough. Does God's will even matter? Do you think God really, REALLY knows how to make your life complete? Whether you're dealing with trusting God, how to make everyday choices, or you're on the brink of a major life decision, "discernment", or sifting through all your thoughts and feelings to discover the nudges and hints God gives, is a great tool to add to your adult Catholic toolkit. On this discernment retreat for women, we'll talk about discernment in general, then talk about the three main life choices open to Catholic women: marriage, the single life, and religious life. Finally, we'll tell you about what we know best: religious life as a Handmaid of the Sacred Heart. Women who have done this retreat have gone on to happy marriages, career changes, and yes, becoming Sisters. Learn more about who you are and what God's dream is for you. For more information, go to http://www.acjusa.org/vocation_information/retreats.php or call Sr. Joy at 215-576-6250, or Sr. Uyen-Chi at 610-642-5715.
